About DTG (Direct To Garment) Printed Products
DTG printing has been around for close to 30 years and has proven itself to be a versatile, high quality, & durable printing process. With DTG, as the name suggests, the artwork is digitally printed directly onto T-shirts, hoodies, or any 100% cotton garment. The ink is applied using industrial-sized inkjet-like printers using special water-based inks. Because they are water-based the printing process is more sustainable than the oil-based inks found in most traditional screen printed products. The feel of the print will generally be softer to the hand and can appear slightly faded but they are still as durable as screen prints. The best care for the garment and the print is to wash inside out in cold water.
This youth hooded sweatshirt is made of 50% polyester and 50% cotton fleece and has a large front pouch pocket integrated and an ideal rib-tape neck. The high-quality fiber material also makes this garment great for printing and extremely comfortable against the skin.
